How to Register for Tournaments Using Blue Golf
Find the tournament link on the OVGA website.
Click on the ‘REGISTER’ link beside the tournament you wish to participate in.
There are 2 options at this point:a) Enter the user name and password (if you have registered before).b) Check the ‘I do not have an ID and Password’ button (if this is the first time you have registered via Blue Golf).
If you have registered before, the registration form should be filled out, unless new information is required. If this is the first time you have registered, you will have to accept the ‘WAIVER’ by checking off the appropriate square and then, you will have to fill in the registration form.
If there is more than one fee (e.g. different categories may have different prizes), you will have to check the correct fee.
A donations screen will appear next. Should you wish, you may donate money to the Golf in Schools Program or you can leave it already checked off to the ‘no thanks’ prompt.
If you have registered before, you should be able to choose an existing credit card saved in your profile (assuming that you have checked the box).
If this is the first time you have registered, you will have to enter a valid credit card. Should you wish, you will have the option to check a box to save the information of that credit card for future registrations.
If everything is done correctly, you should see a confirmation screen with the registration completed.
Following the Registration
If you have registered before, you will get an email confirming your registration to the tournament. This will be done at the discretion of the Tournament Administrator at a later date.
If this is the first time you have registered, you will receive an email providing a username and password for future registration. You will also receive an email confirming your registration to the tournament at a later date.
There is a $25 surcharge on individual entries accepted after the closing date. Late entries for the Intersectionals will be assessed an additional $75 bringing the total team entry to $150, while host teams will be charged a total of $75.
All enquiries concerning late entries must be directed to the OVGA Office and will be accepted for 24 hours after the registration closing date. After that, late entries will only be accepted at the discretion of the OVGA to fill openings in the draw and will be processed on a first-come first-served basis.
There is a $25 fee charged for cancellation of a registration after the tournament registration closes. OVGA will not issue refunds for any cancellation made after 8:00 a.m. the day before the start of the event.
Refund Policy for OVGA Events Discontinued Due to Weather or Other Unforeseen Circumstances
In the event of the cancellation and/or discontinuance of play of an OVGA tournament, the participants will receive a refund which consists of the entry fee for the tournament minus the total of a $10 administration fee + the appropriate club payment. Prizes are not awarded under these circumstances.
