RE: NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE OTTAWA VALLEY GOLF ASSOCIATION

This is to advise the member clubs of the OTTAWA VALLEY GOLF ASSOCIATION (known as the OVGA) that in accordance with the By Laws of this Association, a SPECIAL MEETING of the Association has been called as follows:

WHEN:  October 16, 2008 (Thursday)

WHERE:  Rideau View Golf Club

TIME:  6:00 pm

REASON FOR SPECIAL MEETING:

To approve the Amalgamation of the OTTAWA VALLEY GOLF ASSOCIATION with the RCGA OTTAWA DISTRICT WOMEN’S DIVISION to form one Association, known as: THE OTTAWA VALLEY GOLF ASSOCIATION

Call to Order by the President
- Approval of Protocol Agreement
- Approval of Proposed By Laws
- Agreement to Amalgamate

7:00 pm
Meeting of the “New” OVGA to:
- Receive the Report of the Nominating Committee
- Approval of the Report of the Nominating Committee
- Introduction of the New Board
- Call to Order of the First Meeting of the OTTAWA VALLEY GOLF ASSOCIATION (2008)
