QGA Interdistrict Team Championship

Golf Québec consists of eight districts:

> Montréal,
>Ottawa Valley
> Eastern Townships,
> Mauricie,
> Lower St. Lawrence - Côte Nord
> Québec City,
> Abitibi - Temiscamingue,
> Saguenay / Lac St-Jean / Chibougamau

Since 1999 Golf Québec has sponsored an INTER-DISTRICT Team Championship..

The venue is rotated among the eight districts.

The STABLEFORD Formula is used with the Championship going to the team with the most points.

The protocol for player selection to  the team will be as follows:

The winner of the OVGA City and District Match play championship or if he is not available, the runner-up; The winner of the Alexander Of Tunis; The winner of the Ottawa Citizen Buick Amateur Championship, if he holds a current Golf Québec handicap card; The winner of the OVGA City and District Championship.

If any of the above players is unable to participate, the replacement player will be chosen from the remaining five low finishers in the OVGA City and District Championships.

The tournament committee reserves the right to make last minute adjustments to the team to cover unforeseen events or circumstances.
