Final Results for the OVGA Captain's Scramble on Monday September 10

Renfrew Golf Club today played the perfect host to the OVGA's Captain's Scramble. Thirteen teams from across the Valley competed in the Championship, with Cedarhill's Team captained by Lee Whelley, scoring a -11 to claim first place. Second place went to the team members from Kanata Golf Club who were close behind with a -10. This event is not only aimed at thanking the Club Captain's for the work they do during the year but also is intended to benefit a Charity chosen by the winning Team. This year the Team from Cedarhill has chosen to have a donation made to the Cancer Research Department at the Ottawa Hospital in memory of two Cedarhill members who passed away from cancer last year.
